Dean's Message
Greetings -
Thank you for your interest in Concordia University School of Law in Boise, Idaho! We are pleased to announce that our applications for admission are now available for the Fall 2012 inaugural class.
As a resident of Idaho for more than two decades, and an active member of the legal community, I know, first-hand, the demand that exists for a new option in legal education in this region. Concordia Law will provide an urban, accessible, and affordable opportunity for students to prepare for the practice of law within an environment that emphasizes professional development, ethical conduct, and service to community.
With flexible scheduling options, Concordia law students will be able to pursue their legal education over three to four years, with the option to attend either part- or full-time. In addition, Concordia University has designated special grants for members of the inaugural class that will reduce tuition by up to $5000 annually.
Our downtown Boise building, including the spacious George R. White Law Library, provides easy access for students to connect with the city's government agencies, private law firms, and nonprofits as volunteers and interns. In addition, each student will be paired with a local attorney or judge to receive guidance and mentoring for the duration of their legal studies.
I invite you to begin preparing to be a candidate for our inaugural class of 2012 by taking the LSAT, writing a personal statement, arranging for transcripts to be submitted to the Law School Admission Council, and gathering letters of recommendation. Our admission professionals are available to meet with you to answer your questions and to provide a tour of the new law school building.
Thank you for your interest in Concordia University School of Law.
Sincerely,
